I think the reason why your silk images really talk to me is that I have a degree in Geology and have spent a good quantity of time looking close up at rocks and pebbles. I have numerous pebbles that have been scooped up and pocketed on walks on the beach because they were interesting looking or simply tactile. And here is where your silks come in that they too are an almost tactile experience - just in the looking!
