Recently visited Eridge Edge, near Tunbridge Wells in Sussex which is home to some of the rarest lichens, mosses and liverworts which grow on the sandstone outcrop. These sandstone rocks
which extend for some 600 metres, have 135 million years of weathering
effects upon the crust that encloses a soft moist core, creating some
fascinating honeycomb textures. I discovered a wealth of inspiration for my future work. I will be sharing news of my progress and finished pieces.
